Three Canoes
In fiction, one tool that makes a satisfying story is the full circle technique--ending the story with something that ties to its beginning. In a sense, these three canoes do that for me. I've been on an adventuresome journey writing three books for the Plain City Bridesmaids. It's taken me to many new and exciting places.
While its not the end of my story--I certainly hope-- this photo was used in my very first blog post. Since then, it's been quite the ride trying to find my blogging voice. At least I'm forty posts closer to finding it. As for the book series, I'll let you read and be the judge.
Regarding that first post, I'd just returned from a sister trip, and this week that's where you'll find me again! Like the canoes, there are three of us. I'm the oldest. We live in separate states and try to meet annually. If you want to learn more about my sister trips, check out my Pinterest boards. (See website sidebar)
As Christian women, we sometimes paddle into new territory, glide along peacefully at first, then hit the rapids and wonder if we're going to capsize and drown. We need friends to come alongside and help row. My best friend is my daughter Rachel. Thanks honey, for all those times you take the oars for me. My sisters are always there for me too. (I'll try to bring back at least one story for you even though our motto is..what happens on the sister trip stays on the sister trip).
What (who) are your three canoes? Your thoughts?

My three canoes are The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit!
Always keeping in check...in reality...
God Bless.
Love your three canoes. Three in one, and one that is everything to us! Thanks for sharing.

I have 3 canoes, my grown daughters, who are friends and companions now that they are grown. We enjoy spending time together when we can
