Mother's Cameo

Why am I giving my mom a cameo for Mother's Day?
She loves them, wears them, and they remind me of her. I purchased the one in the photo from Victorian Trading Co. There's a watch inside. But why blog about it? Check out the following definitions of cameo.
Literary Cameo - a brief vivid portrayal
Drama Cameo - a Single dramatic scene
I thought it would be fun to give Cameo credits to our moms. I'll start.
Mom's most used phrase - He/She's so sweet. You see, she sees the good in every situation and in every person. The only thing I can figure, is she gets that trait from spending time in prayer and reflection on the Lord. Mom's eighty-eight. I love her dearly. I know I'll always remember this quality about her.
Lord, I pray for any reading this who have lost their moms. Please heal their hearts and meet their needs.
Leave a short cameo of your mom in the comments below.
PS Mom's not on the internet so this won't spoil the surprise.

My Mom's most used phrase is probably "Isn't that precious?" She loves horses and animals and babies... She has one of the biggest hearts that I know. She took care of her Mother after her Daddy died (Granny never drove and lived 45 minutes from us) for 23 years while working a full time job as a nurse's aide. Now that she's retired she drives elderly ladies to hair appts, Dr appts, church...I could go on! This Mother's Day I will be remembering the last Mother's Day we spent together with her Mother, my Granny. I'm so thankful for that time together!
She is the pilar of strength. I am the only surviving child of 7 and the baby. She has been through more loss than any person should have to deal with. She lost her own mother when she was 14. She has always shown me how to be a forgiving person.
She is an amazing mother and a such a good Grannie to my kids!
(I thought I had posted this when I read the blog last week, apparently not!)

I think I would have to say that my mom's phrase would be: What doesn't kill us makes us stronger!

What a great story about your mom. I know how you feel because I have an old coke calendar hanging on my office wall. The lady on the calendar looks just like my mom when she was young. I don't think I could ever get rid of it.
