New Beginnings

...plain girl romanticizing...

I love new beginnings! Right now my life is exploding with new beginnings. I just moved into a different home. I scrapped the old web site and started a brand new one. Thanks, here, to my nephew Timmy who did an awesome job on that. And I just returned from a sister trip—an annual event where my two sisters (Chris and Kathy) and I strike out on an adventure, trying to stretch ourselves a bit each year. This year we went to Banff, Canada, and it was so inspirational that I’m adding a photo. …Thanks Kathy for that photo.

And now the new experience of beginning a blog. Sigh. That’s what writers are supposed to do, right? The blank screen is filling with words so I guess I’m now a blogger. Bear with me, it will get better with practice.

I made a vow to be real when blogging so I must confess that although I love new beginnings, the transitions WERE stressful. But I survived, and now I’m basking in the high of stepping into that new place where everything sings possibilities - reach for the sky. I am hopeful of what can be achieved.

So my word for you, readers, is to embrace a new beginning. Small or huge, the transition may feel frightening, but I urge you to do it, reach for something fresh in your life. And if you really want to stretch yourself, I invite you to share it with us, too.

I love the idea of "reaching for something fresh." I think this is the beginning of a great new blog. Can't wait to read more!

I feel your same emotions with my own transitions this year, and those of all my friends. There seem to be so many doors opening even as other close. Seeking the right path is sometimes a daunting and fearsome task, but to know we are led by the Light is reassuring. I am excited to follow you through your journey with the blog!
