Wow, I did not know you were born here in Florida, I was born in Brooksville, and I currently live in Spring Hill. I am hope to be able to go down to Sarasota soon and visit the Amish area. I know we are in some of the same groups on F/B. I throughly enjoy your post and comments. Good luck on this blog.
I was so excited to win the darling calendar. Even simple things can be a thing of beauty.Thank you so much for picking my entry. I can't wait to read more of your books.
You sent my sister-in-law the first book in your series of Plain City Bridesmaids and she let me read it. So ready for the next book. Enjoyed it very much.
I just wanted to see how you have been doing. I think about you often, but I am not always able to get here to tell you so. Your second book should be coming up soon, shouldn't it?
I am SO excited about this series, now that you sent me the first book!! It's wonderful to have you back on the scene, and with such lovely books!
No, but it's a dream of mine. Since I don't have my own farm to homestead, I like to refer to myself as a backyard homesteader, lol.
Thanks, Dianne. My parents liked Darlene & Linda so combined the 2.
They're here!! My twin grandbabies are here, born November 17th at 4:34am and 4:36am! Anjum went into labor at 32 weeks, but the tiny girl was breech, so she had to have a C-section. The babys' names are Kiran (boy) and Asha (girl), and they weighed 5 lbs and 3 lbs 14 ozs respectively. Asha was born first and she is doing quite well for her small size, but Kiran is having a few breathing problems, so he had to be put on a CPAP machine. Anjum is doing fine following her surgery. She had gotten so hugely pregnant that she was unable to move, even to go to work, so they are grateful that everything is over and done (or at least the pregnancy part). I guess the hard work has just begun! LOL
I love that picture of you. I can't wait for your next book!
